Bennington Ridge Apartments

Praise the Lord for steering me clear of this apartment. These burned buildings are the first sight on the drive in. If you look up the stories, 2 separate fires happened within a month in July 2024. It's been 8 months and they haven't touched them??? The reports are scary. Was just going to tour the apartment but the leasing agent refused to give us a tour because we were late, despite having given notice and been told on the phone it was fine. Whatever, not going back.

These apartments are disgusting. They don't let you see units prior to signing papers. Our unit was borderline uninhabitable and the "new" carpet was just poorly slapped over shattered tile that you can still hear crunch under the floor. The "new" paint is a land lord special through and through. the appliances are old models that barely function, and the maintenance to the AC unit is non existent. The parking lot & associated facilities is full of garbage, trash, people smoke weed in the parking lot, eat their food and just toss garbage on the ground without zero care for their surroundings. The property entrances, walkways, and stairwells are the bare minimum and are not properly maintained or cleaned. DO NOT RENT HERE DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Everyone here lies and disrespectful, when you have issues with your place they won't fix it! My mom was hospitalized because of the black mold and she's sick again we lived here since December and still here and still mold our cabinets are down and not up. The ac stopped working and they won't fix it they say it's not an emergency but yet it reads 80 in the house. It's against the law to allow us living in an apartment in SUMMER or winter it's also against law to not fix the mold that was here when moved in we called and noone answers why cause they are lazy to do anything!!! Even going to the office they just give a number but don't answer why cause they are all about the money. Not only that me and my mom has been putting our service dogs

My sister has lived here for 2 months and her water heater hasn’t worked this entire time. She’s been calling the office/maintenance 10+ times a day and no one answers. She did get a hold of someone from the office and they said they weren’t being negligent, but it’s been this long and she still doesn’t have a hot water heater? The man on the emergency maintenance line said they were not following protocol as someone should have come by and ordered a new heater and no one has come by. The lady in the office has a nasty attitude . Horrible apartment don’t waste your money here you will seriously regret it

There have been 2 fires in 2 different buildings within the past month each within the same area. Friend was given 3 days to pack up and leave and the lease was terminated and they refuse to help. Update as of 7/31/24: My friend received a text message as shown below a couple days ago asking them to rate their move out experience, which honestly just adds insult to injury to this already stressful situation.
