Belterra Springs Apartments

I would like to start off by saying that I have had to sit and wait to post this review because I am so annoyed and angry with this apartment building that I didn’t want to just rant but rather give an honest review. Do not stay here. They are consistently passive aggressive in their emails to the property but continue to not address actual issues. My roommate and I lived there for a little over 2 years (not exactly by choice since they messed up our lease basically forcing us to stay an extra three months). Then, when we finally did move out, they sent us an email just saying what we needed to do, drop off our keys, etc. we never heard back from them after that, so all is good right? Well, no, because then my roommate and I start getting calls and emails from a DEBT COLLECTOR talking abo

They’re fake nice to you in person and then screw you over later. Over three months after moving out, I get a call from a debt collector, saying I owe money to Belterra Springs. First I heard of it, they didn’t tell me literally anything about this. Instead of just asking me or my roommate directly to pay it (which we would have) they sent it to a debt collector. We never paid our rent late. We were in good standing. So why in the world would they do that??! In fact, they have our phone number, email, and new address to contact us, and I have been in contact with them and been to the office in person since moving out to pick something up. At any point during that they could’ve said “hey you still owe us this balance”. Did they? Nope. They also basically tricked us into signing a 15 month

Thank you to the Manager and Maintenance men for repairing my a/c issue immediately!!! It was less than an hour between my request and the repair completion. I am a happy resident of over 10 years, and do not want to live anywhere else! I feel very happy and well taken care of at Belterra Springs. In addition, it’s so close to the stores and other conveniences. I’m looking forward to many more years here. Thank you again!

We have lived here for almost 4 years now, and we have had our ups and downs. However recently, management has made the decision to hire a company to perform “Heavy Trimming” on all trees throughout the property. This has left the trees stripped, and bare. They look terrible and provide little to no shade now. There used to be a lovely tree in our yard that helped provide shade to the large window leading to the office where we both work. Unfortunately all of the branches are now gone, and so is the shade. Now instead we get the full brightness of the sun glaring into the window all day every day. It’s a terrible thing that cannot be undone, and it has left the property looking so much worse than before. These trees were not unhealthy or in need of such a treatment. Truly sad.

In my nearly a year of living at Belterra Springs, I have had an excellent experience - great condo unit, wonderful location, fantastic grounds/amenities and terrific office and maintenance staff.
