Bellclair at Montclair

I’ve been living at the Bellclair for a year now with my girlfriend and we absolutely love it. It’s in a perfect location for Montclair. The new staff here are extremely kind and attentive. They always communicate and will go out of their way to make sure we are happy.

We absolutely love this place. We moved here during the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and I literally cried tears of joy when we pulled our car into the garage with the last of our moving stuff. We have a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment that is absolutely huge and full of light. The windows are enormous and we have a tree right outside both bedrooms that I'm obsessed with (probably lived in Brooklyn too long?). Especially during the pandemic we wanted a place that would feel spacious and not give us cabin fever... and this place is perfect. It's also walking distance from the main street in town (shops, restaurants, whole foods), and walking distance to the botanical gardens, multiple parks, and the reservation. Perfect location. Very bad experience with my stay there. noisy neighbors especially in the midnight 11 am 2 am 5 am , and even though I complained about it the management did nothing. Poor sound insulation in the building. Finally when we had to vacate early because of personal reasons, even though the unit got rented and we were told to vacate at least 10 days before the new tenants are coming, they charged us early termination fee and 1/2 month rent. No one cares to reply back when asked for the extra charges
