A Truly Special Place to Call Home (Again and Again!) Bella Vista has been, without question, one of the most meaningful and memorable places I’ve lived in the Bay Area — and I say that as a third-time returning resident. That alone should speak volumes about how unique this community truly is. From day one, the experience has always been outstanding. Reina, who helped with my onboarding, was nothing short of amazing — kind, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. She made the move-in process feel effortless. Aliera, the property manager, showed an extraordinary level of empathy and professionalism during a difficult family situation, and her support meant more than I can express. The maintenance manager, I forgot his name, but he has a long pony Tail...he did a great job with fixing the toilet handle. He was through and efficient. He also installed the lights in my unit a couple of weeks ago. Please send him when I have maintenance issues. Thank you, Michelle

I loved living at Bella Vista both the times I stayed there. I just moved out but I miss the place already. The apartment complex might be old, but the community is quiet, peaceful and homely. Meadows of giant Eucalyptus and Redwood trees along with others make you feel like you're one with the nature. Squirrels and birds come to your patio in search for food. Bella Vista is also close to the Guadalupe River Trail giving you an excellent option to go off the sidewalk and walk for miles. Leasing office and maintenance teams are responsive with most of the requests handled in 24 hours. Pool, spa, BBQ, gym is well maintained. Old construction means low ceilings and you'd hear your upstairs neighbors if they're heavy steppers, but I personally didn't find that messing with my sleep. YMMV.

I stayed here for around 3 years. The community was good, had no major issues throughout. Until recently when I moved out around 3 months back and the deposit check has not been forwarded to us yet. Even after visiting the office and getting on call with them almost everyday, there hasn’t been any major progress and they just wind up saying the management will get back. This is weird and they need to put things in place to avoid such circumstances.

Absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful management. We have had NO hot water for three full days. I contacted management every single day, making countless phone calls, yet no one took this issue seriously. There was no apology, no accountability, and zero acknowledgment of their failure or poor communication. I made it very clear that we have a newborn baby only 3 days old, and that my wife had just been discharged from the hospital. Hot water is not a luxury — it is a basic human necessity. Still, nothing was fixed. When I finally demanded a specific time for when the issue would be resolved, the response I received was shocking and insulting: they told me to shower somewhere else. Every problem in this building follows the same pattern: nothing gets resolved unless you wait for days
