0 intentions of renting the unit at 2414 n Oakland Ave, an ad that has been up since July of 2025 by the way! It is about to be December. Said we have to make 3X the rent, WHICH WE DEFINITELY DO. Didn’t offer us to pay a higher security deposit if your credit is lower like the website claims. Claimed she’d “check with her boss in what would be offered as a higher security deposit” NEVER DID. Reading these reviews I’m glad we didn’t rent with them! Look them up on Reddit too!! Stay far away from them just took our $40 but kept encouraging us to get our applications in. Screw them.

I lived with bell properties for a year and had a fabulous experience. I was at Webster Terrace II with Gabbi and then Barbara as property managers. The property was well maintained and the maintenance staff was incredible, always going above and beyond. Gabbi and Barbara were so kind and always happy to listen to issues with solutions at the ready. I would highly recommend bell properties.

Don't move to Bell unless you want to deal with problem after problem! I've only been living in my unit for 2 months, and have had to deal with the repercussions of maintenances sloppy work every time! Including damaged refrigerator parts that haven't been replaced, coming into a bathroom with a fan that doesn't properly work, I've been missing a skylight for a month as I was told it'd be replaced within the week! Definitely don't move here if you don't want to also clean up after every maintenance job. You're plumbing's leaking and maintenance has to rip out your entire sink vanity and put it back? Enjoy cleaning up all the wood and plaster chips they leave all over the floor! Or how about the debris that they just let fall through the open hole in your ceiling as they work on the roof! I

I have been living in a Bell Property Management building for over 8 months now. I have found the building manager (Barbara) to be incredibly responsive to any maintenance requests or concerns. Maintenance is generally quick to respond as well. I would recommend Bell Property Management to any prospective renters.

We lived in a Bell Property managed apartment for six years. Was it the worst? No. Was it the best? No. If you’re looking for updated/newer appliances, I would recommend to keep looking. Most of our appliances did not work 100% (freezer didn’t seal causing food to thaw, dishwasher wouldn’t clean a tiny load), and maintenance would not replace or fix because they were not “broken.” Management is not 100% timely on responding to inquiries, and do not approach those who are not following the rules and regulations. You’ll receive multiple complex wide notices and nothing changes. Again, I don’t recommend or not recommend renting a unit in one of their properties. However, there are better options available for “value of rent” in the area we lived in.
