My honest experience living at Belara Apartments (last 3–4 months) I normally don’t leave reviews, but after everything I’ve been through here, I feel like people deserve to know what they’re walking into. We moved in on July 14th, and the apartment they handed us was nowhere near ready or safe to live in. I’m talking about a 1½-foot hole in the wall, bee hives covering the entire patio, no hot water, and the worst part and an extremely old water heater that was leaking gas. We had to call Texas Gas, and they confirmed it and even left the notice on the unit. On top of that, there were flooding issues, and it took the management almost two months to resolve the mess. During this entire time, dealing with the office and especially Karla Cepeda and her team has been nothing but frustrating.

The manager James and Assistant Mgr Roland are awesome. When I talk to them I feel like I am talking to family!!! Nice grounds well kept and the inside is nice as well. Update 03 25 2023: issues with pest!!! Gnats sliver fish roaches and mice!!! Roaches coming out of my stove top and fridge. I pay for pest control

I’m leaving this review to caution other agents and/or locators. My client moved in 11 months ago, and I still have not been paid the commission owed for the lease. I’ve made repeated attempts to resolve this directly with the property. I've called and left multiple voicemails, sent several emails, and stopped by the office on different days during posted business hours. Every time I’ve gone in person, the office has been locked, the lights off, and the sign on the door still says “Open come on in.” I did receive one initial response from the office back in June (5 months ago), but when it came time to actually resolve the issue, communication stopped again and I never heard back. Extremely Unorganized and Unresponsive My son and his friend were excited to choose this place after touring several apartments. It seemed to meet all their needs—close to their new college and their job—and they were looking forward to moving in. Unfortunately, the process since then has been a nightmare. We tried contacting the office for three weeks with no response. When someone finally answered last week, they provided quotes and application instructions. We followed every step, submitted all requested documents, and paid the application and administrative fees promptly. Now, just days before move-in, we still haven’t received any updates. The maintenance is terrible, and the toilets are always clogged. Dirty, bad water overflows. I don't recommend it.
