To the people that own miller ave., I lived there during that whole situation, and being first hand your wrong! Becoate was always present, did everything they could do to keep the trash out, worked with the police constantly( I know because I talked to the police also) kept up on what they could. If you knew about the drug problems and so forth then where were you! You own the dam place and you were nowhere to be seen heard or even known of! We hired Becoate Property Management on a two-year contract to manage our out-of-town 10-unit multifamily property, and it was a disaster from start to finish. When we took over the building, 5 out of 10 units were rented. After two full years with Becoate, they failed to fill a single additional unit — and actually lost more tenants. By the time we handed the property off to a new manager, only 2 units were occupied. That’s right: they took the building from 50% occupancy down to 20%. They sold us on their ability to lease quickly and manage proactively. Instead, they collected monthly checks while doing next to nothing. Their flat-fee-per-unit structure (whether rented or not) gave them no incentive to actually perform — and they didn’t. Communication was a joke. They withheld importa

Do yourself a favor and stay far away. They charge regardless of filling your buildings, show no urgency in filling vacant units, overpromise upfront but underdeliver heavily. This company costs me tens of thousands due to poor management over a 2 year period. I truly wish we never crossed paths.

Beyond appreciative of this company and everyone who works for them, especially Tammy! I couldn’t be more grateful for not only their generosity but their continuious care through the process of renting with them. I have rented with 2 other properties but Becoate has been the best and so good by me, also being the only ones who gave me the chance as I have relocated from Philadelphia sometime ago and working with me with properties and getting me into a home within that week of relocating! They are heaven sent. 5 stars is an understatement, I have absolutely no complaints. Thank you Becoate for having me as a tenant, I appreciate every last one of you!!
