I see a bigger picture of Bear Realty Inc. here in Kenosha... I'm just concerned that the community isn't paying attention. As a Caregiver/Liason for elderly individuals, and At-Risk Families I'm witnessing the silent biases weaved into the housing offered to HUD participants and market renters, as well as the upkeep and response to maintenance issues. The fact that they choose what property they'll rent to Section 8 is unfair to say the least. I'm positive that the HUD official cabinet at a federal level they agreed to this great contract with would be disappointed to see and understand the process they've adopted. Not trustworthy at all. Lakisha was very helpful, but she was pushed out along with my bid. Was told if I raised my offer within the hour, the house was mine. 22 minutes later, after I raised my final cash offer, JoAnne Brown says sorry, already accepted another. "How was I to know you could come up with that kind of money". Why lie and tell me I had an hour? Spoke to Michelle and Glenda at Bear, both refused to do anything. My opinion, JoAnne didn't want to share the commission. She even refused to take my cash offer to the seller early, holding them for a week. Shady people, very shady!
