Been living here since 2022. For me, it for sure feels like home. Pretty quiet and relaxing spot. The management is awesome, whenever my gf and I need something done with our apartment, it gets done right away. Couldn’t ask for a better place to live.

These apartments are a great location, reasonable price, and surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroom. Most 1 bedrooms are shaped like a square box, but we have a teeny tiny hallway that leads to the bedroom and bathroom; I appreciate the design and it adds dimension to the layout. Management is very helpful and responsive. I've seen a couple managers come and go, but since we got a new manager (Jane) sometime in 2017, the building has been repainted, carpets have been cleaned, and the overall upkeep has seemed nicer. I believe if you are a normal person/family on a budget, you can't be too picky, but I definitely feel like I get a lot for what I pay for in Clairemont: 1 parking spot, onsite laundry, and a backyard. You will be lucky to be selected as an applicant to live here with how competitive it is to find reasonably priced San Diego apartments. We moved here in 5/2015 and still love this place. We actually paid our deposit before even seeing a unit because of how competitive it is to find a place, especially cheaper apartments in a central area and walking distance to a shopping center. The rent we pay is reasonable for a 1 bedroom in Clairemont, and we even have a small, fenced, private backyard (bottom unit) where we keep our wedding arbor, a bunch of potted plants, and sealed storage containers. The top units have a small balcony. Unfortunately, rent increases a bit every year, but all apartment complexes do that. We get 1 assigned parking spot. Street parking is not abundant in the evening,

Rent somewhere else. Should have done more research and read other reviews on this place before signing the lease.
