This place needs shut down! I lived here for 6 years. Ive had problems with the staff, that is always someone new every 2 months. I Paid rent on the first of every month, but they always tried charging me a late fee. Never had the pool open in the summer mornings like they should have. I was in a one bedroom for 4 years. The ceiling in my bedroom started flooding n caving in. Flooding my bed, clothes an carpet with murcy black water. Mold grew all along the walls. They didnt even fix the ceiling until I moved out 6months later. I was told I could get $500 off on my first month if I signed a one year lease with a 2 bedroom apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I know there's always reviews like this on any apartment complex but this place is actually uninhabitable. When we first gained access to our apartment it was literally missing an entire window pane (shown in the video). We were told the apartment would be ready on September fourth. That was the agreed upon move-in date. When we went in to pay first month's rent and collect our keys we were informed that there were still some things that needed to be finished, and we were specifically told that they just needed to do some minor cleanup and that the deck still needed to be finished, but otherwise it was ready. I'm looking for a new apartment somewhere between the Old Market and 120th and Fort to South of there to include L Street. I will tour all this week as many apartments as possible. I have already looked at approximately 15 places in the past 10 days. Renters beware, the pictures that are displayed on RentCafe, Apartments. Com, Zillow etc. probably are only model pictures, often not even in the same town. For senior citizens like myself, good luck on a fixed income. The average total price for a small one bed, one bath, is over$1000 a month, plus utilities, plus cell phones, plus Wifi, not to mention groceries, medicine, gasoline it's nearly impossible. They had a problem with billing that caused our automatic payments to be late. The manager told us to not worry she is fixing it. Resulted in $160 dollars we didnt owe sent to collections and her giving no contact back. We were good tenants, dealt with our own problems. Cleaned around the neighborhood. Would not rent again

Goldmark Property Management is the worst. Every month they charge me extra charges on rent for renters insurance after they have been provided knowledge that I have my own and they still charge me. And when I don’t pay it they add an 40$ late fee making my resident account go up. Management office does not respond to emails , or phone calls. I’ve set up meeting with office management and they still do not change the problem. Every month I am getting scammed out of money and no one is responding to the issue.
