TL;DR: If you rely on a staffed front desk due to long work hours or family responsibilities, this building is not a good fit. Management assigns a single staff member to cover two Beacon towers (approximately 240 units), and that person is frequently unavailable. It’s not the fault of the front desk staff; they’re basically set up to fail. The building provides self-service package lockers, including refrigerated units, but they are consistently full. As a result, residents must rely on the package room, which can only be accessed by front desk staff—when they are present. I rely on prepared meal services for myself and my toddler, and after long workdays I often find no staff available to release time-sensitive food. Lauren has been amazing. We moved into the Beacon in 2020 and can say we noticed the difference in customer service right away. Lauren is always ready to listen & offer to help. Recently with the garage updates, she stayed after the scheduled time for us to pick up our garage openers. She has helped bring packages to our unit when we needed an extra hand. Just generally a wonderful addition to the building.

I love the location of this place, but there are several issues that make it less than ideal. The elevator frequently breaks down, and the amenities lack heating. Now, the convergence is only open from 9 am to 6 pm, and they’re doing other things away from the front desk. The water supplier was changed, and the residue is still left behind, and the filter isn’t working. I’m paying for two car garages, but my second car garage parking is more expensive than my VIP spot. I can’t use the amenities or conference rooms because of the lack of heat and the poor technology, making it difficult to connect or turn on anything. The concierge team makes this place a home. They know each of us and look out for us. I recently had an injury that kept me from picking up the package of dog food that a delivery service left in the package room instead of at my apartment door. Without my asking for it, the concierge, Jarinette, noticed it was for me and brought it to my door. It’s the kind of thoughtfulness that makes you grateful to live here.

Exceptional service from Lauren at the Beacon I want to give huge credit to Lauren at The Beacon for consistently going above and beyond. She’s always available and genuinely helpful whenever something comes up. Every request I’ve had has been handled within 24 hours she gets things done, no excuses. She’s invested in the community, she truly cares about our experience, regularly sets up events and even asks residents for recommendations on how she can make things better. She stays on top of everything, communicates clearly, and makes living here feel taken care of.
