Beach at Newport

Please avoid. Pictured is the pristine condition I left behind when I moved out. I got charged $900+ for additional cleaning and repairs. If you don't want to be charged like I was, walk away from this building.

Very bad experience with security. For the safety of residents and staff, deliveries should be handled in the lobby. The security lady was rude and threw the food in the trash without permission. Safety should always come first, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. I do not recommend this place.

Extremely disappointing experience at the Newport beach. The area was overcrowded, parking was a nightmare, and everything felt overpriced. The beach itself wasn’t well maintained — lots of trash around and not nearly as clean as it should be for such a popular spot. The overall atmosphere was chaotic rather than relaxing. I expected much better and left frustrated. Definitely not worth the time or money.

The construction start from 8am and end at 4pm. They make it impossible to work from home, because no one wants to hear construction clanging during a meeting. They claim to have a high speed internet, but it often disconnects. The walls also fell off.

If you're considering this place and you happen to work from home, I'd seriously advise rethinking. Construction seems to be a never-ending saga here. Living street-side? Prepare for constant noise from the construction site. If you opt for the park-side, it's the restaurant construction downstairs that keeps the decibels up. The folks running the show here can't give a solid timeline for when the racket will end. And remember, the restaurant is just the first in a potentially long line-up. With more vacant spaces around, the construction could start up all over again. Then there's the rent - it's been skyrocketing, with no special consideration for those renewing.
