So Trent (I'm assuming is the owner?) is pretty nice and reasonable to talk to but Sharon the realtor is really bad at her job. She never picks up the phone and takes a very long time to reply to text messages. Just a lack of professionalism and punctuality. Also, my building was labeled as a no pet building which was something I was actively seeking when looking for apartments. But the apartment above me has a dog that is always making noise and thumping on the floor above me in the middle of the night. Requesting a work order in the resident portal is pointless. It asks you to enter times that maintenance can come into your apartment but they never come unless Sharon happens to see the text you have to send asking when the maintenance will come. The lawn service that is part of my lease

Pro: the price of the rental was good and didn't change for the years there. Con: 1. forced yearly contract 2. They hustle you out of deposit money when it's all done. When I got the house there where to tires there and after the contract was done they kept $125 claiming the tire were left by me. Then they charge me for yard work when they did it two days befor my final day and I planned on cutting it that day. I called 3 times visited once and nothing happened.

Hell no! Hope that clarifies everything. If not: They don't respond, they don't pick up calls, they won't care if residents need something fixed, changed, etc., they have no qualms taking money in advance, but will absolutely 100% ghost you after the money has been paid.

After three years of faithfully paying our rent on time and fulfilling our contracts, we were never given the option of month-to-month renting. They begin pressuring you to make a decision about renewing the yearly contract 5-6 months before the lease is even up. Not sure if that is common in this area, but we were very displeased with their service.

I rented an apartment in a 4-plex from BCS Heritage for 5 years. Sometimes maintenance was quick and sometimes it was a little slow, but it always got done. I enjoyed living in my apartment - it was the perfect place while I worked on my PhD. Sharon and Trent were always understanding and kind - thanks y’all!
