Bayside at Peninsula

I have been at this property for more than 20years and I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly because of different property owners. The current leasing agents are only following policies and it makes them appear to be less people friendly when you go into the office. The primary source of interaction is a portal, i love the location of the property and the upgrades that have been completed although my unit was NOT amongst them because I reside in my unit, I would love the updated floors but I understand the issue. As a Veteran I have a peace of mind where I live and would recommend this property to others

Maintenance could be a lot better. Renovation was cheap everything chips, peel or fades easily like the tub. I’ve had pest control problems since moving in nothings to do about the big roaches from the drains. My hot water went out several times. The power outlets are very weak the lights flicker . Overall it was ok it wasn’t the worse but it also wasn’t the best . They came to fix the pipes left a big hole in my closet and under my kitchen sink never came back to repair it. The floors are also very cheap.also ac vent had leak and it looks rusted and nasty. Also the pool was closed first year and half staying here. Maintenance definitely not 24/7 you have to find them to get them to come to your place. We had one bathroom and the toilet didn’t work and they didn’t come til Monday after the

Leasing office is useless. Someone moved out and left trash with rotting food and animal waste, in which bugs of all sorts have congregated amongst. I called along with another resident and they said they’d send someone over and never did. Molding vents and walls covered up with paint. Bath tub cheaply finished with paint that chips and gets clogged in shower drain. Pests, litter, Green Monkey our trash collection “service “ shows up maybe 2/6 times they should per week, leaving leaking trash and attracting more bugs into our building. Front door to the building is broken letting in god knows what and has been broken for months. Leasing office marks service requests as complete and moves on without addressing anything. I don’t usually do this but I hated living these apartments, the floor a plastic and easily ripped, soon as I moved my stuff in the floor were being ripped, the pipes and plumbing went bad very often. They never ever fixed my dryer and I still paid for it while spending money at the laundry mat. Then, by the end of my lease, they raised the rent which was in the contract and they gave me and eviction when I had already paid and now they’ve ruined my credit. These apartments is such a SCAM.

This place is horrible, three pools but only one is ever open. Bugs crawling out of every crack in the wall and don’t try to lookout the cute dock or you will see rats crawling around too. On top of all of this they will try to charge you for every penny you have left when you try and leave this terrible complex. They use some king of AI bot to text you but will never answer a phone call and i completely regret giving this scam any kind of money from my own pocket. Thank you bayside for showing me the worst apartment building experience i will ever receive.
