Bassettville Apartments

Not a very good experience. Parking is expensive and you may not always find a spot yet you’re paying for a spot. They ask tenants to make sure to close the front door, makes sense, but the back door almost never locks. Only two washers and dryers, and people leave their things in there for hours. If you live downstairs you don’t get an AC unit, they failed to mention that. I had mold in my bathroom, even before I moved in. Had a hole in my ceiling and let them know, two years later and it never got fixed. My fridge didn’t work, took a couple of attempts before anyone actually looked it at. Had a cabinet that was detached from the wall and falling forward, took maybe a week before someone came to look wt it. Old building with shoddy doors. You'd only sign up for a lease if BMOC would trick you into it by showing you a model apartment. Your apartment might not even have a closet door for its only closet. Mine doesn't. Ben of BMOC conveniently refrained from mentioning that. You'd be told that your apartment would be repainted before move-in, but that's a lie. Air Conditioners are full of spider webs. Don't expect the AC units to be serviced. You'd only feel a chilling effect if you put your head in front of it, so be prepared to move your bed in the middle. Bathroom ceilings are falling apart. If kitchen vent fans don't work, you'd be asked to 'open a window', although the kitchen has none!

I can't actually say anything for this particular building, but my building is owned by the same landlord, and is in exactly the same state as described by the previous reviewer. Don't live here, don't live at W Main. No communication, apartments are not cleaned or prepared for you in anyway.

Worst landlord experience in my life. Do not rent under any circumstances!
