Bartlett Custom Homes

I'm giving Bartlett Customs Homes two stars. Although he builds a very good home he does not stand behind the work of his subcontractors. I recently concluded legal action to recover the cost associated with repairs I had to make to prevent my lanai from flooding during moderate to heavy periods of rain. The problem was addressed several times by Bartlett, but never fixed. Further litigation became more costly to precede with based on how Bartlett Custom Homes construction contract was worded to bear no responsibility for construction defects. I'll absorb the $5,600 repair job and $2,200 in legal fees I had to pay out of pocket. Not the outcome I hoped for, but I'm happy my lanai and cabana has been leveled to properly drains now. Jack Bartlett and Co. built a beautiful custom home for our family. From the initial phase of picking a lot, to the final touches on completion, Bartlett custom homes exceeded our expectations. During our initial encounter Jack took the time to walk multiple lots with us even though we had not signed a contract. He helped us secure a lot my wife loved that a prior client of his wanted to sell. When we walked the lot with Jack we knew we wanted him to build our house, it was clear he had many years of experience and saw our vision. From that point we went through the design phase, he listened to what we wanted and made it a reality.
