I have been living in my unit 17 yrs every year I have mice problems faced with chasing them out myself. They come plug the holes with sos pads & leave them for years never closing them up. The mice has now started eating thru my stairs & garage. I was told we no longer have pest control this it getting out of hand. I have also complained about my carpet which ive had in my unit since ive been there & water leaks in the ceiling. I have been forced to reach out to the health department & might go ahead & seek legal help.

Barker Management Inc. has been involved in several lawsuits in California, notably facing scrutiny and settlements with the California Attorney General for illegal evictions and rent hikes. Their property managers are clueless about the law and regulations. Improper behavior, threatening tenants and abuse of power. If you submit notice for repairs good luck. They don't deserve a ZERO star. If you are a tenant my suggestion get an attorney.

ZERO STARS Unprofessional and Negligent Property Management – Beware I am a resident at Rampart Mint, 252 S Rampart Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90057, and my experience with Barker Management, Inc. has been extremely negative. 1. Breach of Lease Agreement Failure to Make Timely Repairs: I submitted a work order on July 10, 2025, and as of September 3, 2025, no acknowledgment or repairs have been made. Outstanding issues include: Non-functional AC Non-functional electric burner Non-functional restroom exhaust fan Refrigerator leaking, causing warped flooring Inconsistent hot water (cold in mornings, hot only in evenings) Denial of Services: Maintenance requests are ignored. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Barker Management has demonstrated a blatant disregard for federal, state, and local housing laws and the rights of tenants. They refuse to process and submit HUD Section 8/HAP applications and renewals, which violates 24 CFR § 982.305 and 24 CFR § 982.456, denying tenants their lawful right to federally subsidized housing. They have engaged in disability discrimination by refusing to consider a household member’s addition to the lease as a reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq.), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. § 794), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq.).
