Banyan Flats

I’ve never been more compelled to write a review now more then ever. Because every time I think I like this apartment I’m brought back down reality. If we’re really being honest. You’re paying close to 1300,and that’s with controlled rent, for a small apartment with a terrible parking situation for guests and visitors. A majority of the spots are compact for some reason forcing you into tight spaces or frequent double parkers. There’s convex mirrors for around the corners, but suddenly stop when you hit the fourth floor even though there six. A garage gate that’s more broken than not as well as the doors leading to the garages being broken as well. A door lock battery that’s needed replacing more than twice along with a shitty keypad interface system that can never register your touch how

Worst thing here is if you hate noise or are sensitive to it, living by the highway can be inconveniently annoying. For us, it is tolerable because it comes with a nice view. I think Banyans units are designed beautifully. Love the 3 exhausts— stove, kitchen and bathroom. It’s not perfect but it’s very nice. Also motivated to write this review for this young maintenance man who I see repaired the entrance door that wouldn’t close right and now it’s fixed! He also came by today to fix the dishwasher but the dishwasher fixed itself 😅 anyway, they are quick to fix problems/issues!

I recently visited Banyan Flats, and it seems like a solid place to live. The complex is well-maintained, with clean common areas and well-kept landscaping. The apartments themselves are spacious, with modern finishes and good natural light. I particularly liked the community amenities, like the gym and the pool, which are both in great condition. The staff was friendly and responsive, making the application process smooth. The location is convenient, with easy access to local shops and public transportation. The only downside is the parking situation, which can be a bit tight at times. Overall, it seems like a nice place to call home, with a friendly community and convenient amenities.

The female leasing agent with blond/brown was extremely unfriendly and rude. I was there for a scheduled tour, and she didn't even great or acknowledge us. I HAD to make my presence known. She the was rude in saying "we don't tour at 9am on Wednesday" when I was clearly scheduled for that time. She completely deterred us from renting at this apartment. Also the apartment is dark, dirty floors, and right next to the highway. I went to tour the Beckley next door, and told them about the leasing agent. They also heard from other guests about the same leasing agent, So clearly she is a problem. I hope management can get their act together. Apartments look ok, but not worth the price. Do not rent here

I want to sincerely thank Anthony, the maintenance technician, for always coming through and saving the day. When my air conditioner went out, I immediately submitted a work order, and he responded very quickly. He took the time to thoroughly assess the issue and worked diligently until he was able to get my AC back up and running. Out of the entire maintenance staff, he is truly the best worker on the property. Anthony is consistently professional, courteous, and dedicated to making sure everything in the apartment complex is handled properly. His work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile never go unnoticed. Thank you so much for your outstanding service!
