Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

Outstanding experience — exceptional people. I’ve had multiple experiences at the Bank of America financial center in San Rafael, and each one has been exceptional. On one visit, I was helped by a woman from Argentina, and it felt like a warm, authentic family visit. On another occasion, I had to come in for an authentication at the financial center with two forms of ID. Kevin Menderos handled the situation in a way that felt like I had just been to a party. I also observed Kevin attending to customers in the teller area and resolving issues while keeping the line moving. Seeing him in action showed strong prioritization and problem-solving. I strongly recommend this banking center. The people make the experience.

I came in at 4:30 and just needed to change my name back to my maiden name which takes 2 minutes and no one would help me because they were “closing soon” (in 30 minutes) and told me to come back tomorrow morning. Everyone was just sitting around when I entered the bank, doing nothing. Seriously, don’t waste your time driving here for anything.

I barely write reviews, but the staff seriously pissed me off today. I did cash transaction and I deposit bills into ATM of another branch. One of the 100 bills was old and came out worn out. Since my other bank “capital one” do not have tellers or actual branches, decided to stop by this branch, since I’m also a BOA client. Well upon presenting the bill to the teller and explaining what happened, I’ve been looked upon like a greatest criminal on earth, who refused to help old lady to cross the street and kicked the cat while cussing her out…. Seriously, why would you treat customer that way. Manager was not on site so they refused to take it or make a decision. But overall people be kind !! Don’t need to give that judging side eye, when I have a net worth of those two tellers combine. You

I have done some business here and it’s a rather status quo branch. I don’t know how long ago I wrote that (can be a few years even then referring to my last trip in the past before I wrote it), but I did come here recently as October 2025 to make my Bank of America errand as part of my San Rafael fun day! Still, all I got from here was just another thing done in San Rafael with my old review telling my what to expect ahead of time.
