If I could give this management 0 stars i would, they pick and choose what residents they want to speak especially in residents that have students in them. Had mice issues and issues with random people sleeping our building and when we stated it was an issue we were told to “handle it ourselves” by leasing manager Bridget. Again maybe their other housing, people find great but their housing they consider “student housing” we are treated terrible.

Lived in an apartment owned by BA Companies for a year, and overall had a great experience. Management and maintenance staff are communicative, transparent, and overall great to work with, and the apartment was charming. Bridget is a wonderful landlady, super down to earth and easy to talk to, was easy to get in touch with quickly for emergencies, and overall very understanding. Small issues came up that were inconvenienving at times but once resolved things were fine (washers/dryers had multiple issues, had to pay a few maintenance fees for issues not entirely caused by myself and my roommate, but management had no way to verify it wasn't caused by us so I understand why we were charged). This company is completely useless, they tell you they will respond to your requests within 48 hours, it took 6 months to replace a dryer because they were too cheap, the basement floods and they tell u to deal with it. They came and fixed the heat which was an ongoing issue the entire time living there, and then claim we tampered with it, because the the “technician” they said so, providing absolutely zero proof. They will then respond to this comment pretending to defend everything, and are now leaving fake comments on here to make the reviews seem positive.

I lived in a quite old apartment in central Albany managed by them for little less than 4 years. The building was not in the best condition which I don't blame them for due to the building's age and fairly low/moderate rent. The highlights of my experience with ba property management: they are super responsive with maintenance, I was able to negotiate my rent (was a student, very low income all that) Adam and team were quite flexible with that, and finally they helped me out proactively with lease issue due to sudden job change. So, five stars from me 😊

They worked with us to get us into the apartment that we wanted and it has been a great experience with the staff and property management. Highly recommend them
