Avondale Apartments

Not mine directly but my boyfriend. The managers do not care about pests. In nearly 6 months they've done nothing about the bed bug problem. And now there's a cockroach and mouse issue. People recovering from whatever part of their lives still deserve better. Disgusting!

I've lived here for just over a year now and have to say that my neighbors are awesome. Had a loud neighbor for a short while, but luckily I outlasted them. I keep to myself, but I do get along with my neighbors

Anyone that has anything good to say about this complex, gets paid to do so. 1. You can call them all day and they will not answer. I'm 100% serious. Literally, someone could be dead in one of the apartments and they would not know. 2. Its disgusting. The people who love there seem nice, but it's a horrible area. Majority of the people are high and out of their minds. My friend lives there, and all of this information I just gave, was written because we have a missing person; and this complex cannot answer their phones. They will answer to the police though, I'm sure of it. Also, a lot of people who hang outside here, will either be too friendly, or absolutely rude and obnoxious. TERRIBLE PLACE! For the price you can't beat the quality and central near downtown location. One of the residents however makes it his mission to be a judgmental not entirely honest hippocrite and spread his misery to the entire community. The management is aware he's a problem and has done nothing to return peace to the small community this building makes. I can't wait to find a quieter and more private apartment and will gladly trade location for decent neighbors without hesitation.

Building has Air of History n is listed in Historical Society.Very Clean,Quiet,ppl r friendly n observant of outsiders.They Don't Tolerate anymore drugs,violence nor homeless persons hanging around(begging,doing outside dealing,crime...Close knit community.Apts vary in size n layouts.Studios w kitchenettes,Large living areas n bathrms.Rents vary...low income thru Housing.So waiting List...Highly recommend
