Avenir Apartments

Viewed the property and love it!!! The units are impressive and the amenities are great; with a fantastic view of downtown Austin on the 17th floor swimming pool area and lounge area. They have a concierge there daily during the day and they have security that does a great job during the evening and morning hours They have a great management team starting with Kay. I would recommend a visit if you’re interested in moving.

Do not rent here. The leasing office isn't on your side. Buried move-out fees: The 60-day notice requirement is buried at the bottom of your lease and renewal offers in tiny text. No reminders, no follow-ups, nothing. Then suddenly you've "missed the deadline" and they hit you with a full month's rent penalty - $800 MORE than normal rent - for an apartment you won't even be living in anymore. Pure price gouging. This feels like a deliberate trap to extract money from tenants on their way out. Gas was out for 2 weeks during Thanksgiving. It's nice to have a gas stove until it doesn't work! No cooking and constant in and out access for technicians in every apartment. No rebates or consolations given by the management team to say thank you. My experience at Avenir Apartments has unfortunately been very subpar. The community has nice amenities and the building itself has a lot of potential, but an ongoing roach infestation has made my apartment essentially unlivable since November. I’ve shared photos with management showing the extent of the problem, yet the situation has not improved. The main response from management has been to ask me to continue spraying the unit, which doesn’t feel like a real solution to a building-wide issue. Because of this, I had no choice but to move into my girlfriend’s apartment just to live in a clean and safe environment. I believe the fair and reasonable outcome would be to allow me to break the lease without penalty, given that the apartment hasn’t been in a livable condition for months. It’s

Had an opportunity the other day to check out Avenir Apartments and met the wonderful property manager Kay. The fact that they have on-site overnight security was a big plus for me that you don't see at many complexes. My wife works nights and just knowing that someone would be there when she gets home gives me piece of mind. They have a myriad of amenities including event space. two pools, and a dog spa. Don't have to try and bathe Rex in the tub anymore. Overall great experience and solid management team. Avenir is definitely at the top of my list. Bobby Whitaker

Jose has been absolutely wonderful to work! Anytime I’ve had a concern or needed something addressed, he has handled it quickly and efficiently. He always arrives with a positive attitude, is very polite, and makes sure everything is taken care of properly. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and in making residents feel comfortable in their homes. I truly appreciate his professionalism and kindness it makes such a difference to have someone reliable like Jose on the maintenance team and being part of the complex community. We are very grateful for all that he does.
