Avalonbay Communities

In the beginning they were good but leaving is the worst. I stayed with them for 4 months and bought out my lease. I have now received charges for damages at the apartment. I have proof of the damages prior to moving in with my inspection checklist and a time stamped photo but they refuse to take away the charges. I should not have pay for 800 dollars worth of damage, which is more than my security deposit, if they were there prior or have no valid justification to charge me. Would not rent with this company they will take everything they can and much more.

If I could give this company 0 stars, that would be the appropriate review. I encountered discrimination and the worst customer service possible as I was trying to find an apartment and filling out an application with this company. As part of my job, I needed to move to Washington DC for a year and I will recommend to others in my government program to never rent or apply to rent with this company!

Aweful company that does not take care of it's tenants and ever worse care of the employees.
