Augusta Place Apartments

Do not walk but run from this place! I have lived here over 10 years and my unit has never been renovated and still have all of the old appliances that came in this unit over 10 years ago. My kitchen floor looks like we’ve been in an earthquake or something. Every single year the rent increases but nothing will be renovated. You ask the office staff why such drastic increases in rent and their only answer is “it’s the market,” that would be understandable if I haven’t lived here longer than 10 years in the same unit unit without renovations. Plus, I have family that lives here and their rent didn’t increase as much as mine did and I referred them here.They have increased my rent by nearly 200.00 for a one bedroom. I put in a call to the office and let them know that when they drilled the door shut behind my building that they trapped a cat and it's kittens in there. Eventually, the kittens died. I had to let the cat out through my apartment. Now, my apartment is filling with big flies known as freeloader flies. Coming from the dead animal carcass. The flies are coming through my vents, and all they can tell me, is that they can have pest control come out and spray. I've been in a hotel the last 2 days because I could not live in my apartment due to the flies being filthy. I had to go home. cover my vents with fabric. fabric thin enough for my air to still blow through. Awful and neglectful. Oh, and since when I call, you don't want to return my calls. I will leave a review for every maintenance requ

To host community events but can't address maintenance issues and return calls for tenants is crazy work. Pest control never came to address the pest issue, i had to cover my vents with fabric to keep freeloaders flies (from dead animal carcass) out of my apartment. Had to live in a hotel for a week and of course no one ever came by to check on the issue nor returned a phone call!

I honestly do love living here. They approved me fast, the deposit was fairly cheap, and internet and water is included in the rent with extra fees of course lol. Most importantly no roaches

Ms Dee has been a great property manager thus far. She is knowledgeable about the property and the areas. Easy to work with. Relatable and understand the needs of tenants and potential tenants. She is committed to deadlines set forth and does a great job with follow up. I look forward to living here.
