Audrey M. Edmonson Transit Village Apartments

This apartment has a lack of professionalism! I applied to these apartments and paid a $150 holding fee on 04-18-2022 I understood it was a waiting list. I’m obviously human and can’t wait forever so I’ve found me a new place with availability. I’ve requested to have my holding fee returned and they stated “We can’t return it because I’m sure you knew it was a waiting list when you applied.” Nowhere on the application does it state it’s non refundable. It only states is non refundable if you do not enter a lease within 72hrs. I’ve reached out multiple times, I’ve left voicemails. Nobody has reached out yet.. last time I reached out somebody took my number and said a manager would call. I still have gotten no call! Lived here for 3 years and was forced out by the management office. After their third party security guard attacked my visitor and I asked for proof on video, they wrongfully terminated my lease and is attempting to withhold my deposit. They are kicking out all the long term residents and making way for people not native to the area. The new Liberty City. Beware of Dayana

This place is beautiful and located right next to the bus stop, which is great. I came into inquire about an apartment and was greeted warmly by Maria. I was also able to tour the property with Ms. Olga. She's was very informative and has an amazing vibe!

The condition that some of the residents leave the building in is horrible!!! Garbage on the floor in the trash room, sticky dirty floors, trash all over the garage, over flowing garbage cans in the garage and dead flies in the 2nd floor elevator lobby area. Not to mention the foul odor coming from trash room, due to inadequate dumpster pickups. The building lacks security and anyone can gain entry to the building. The office staff makes their own hours not what's posted and rarely answer the phone in the office. The pest control is a joke and the only thing the spaying does is make a mess in your unit. I wish management would do a better job keeping the building clean and holding filthy nasty dirty residents and their guests accountable.

So far it's been by far the most difficult apt to get Into, out of every affordable apt, these ppl will deny you for the most stupid reason ever. I'm pissed off that I drove several times after asking the leasing agent will she be in office and she wasn't there, getting them to answer the phone is almost impossible. I was denied because me and my boyfriend was considered "over income" which we aren't. I explained to the young lady that I no longer receive a contribution so now what, I been trying to contact her for the past week to inform her of the change and of course no one is there or will answer the phone.
