Auburn Village Townhomes

I was communicating with someone over an advertisement of the apartments on Facebook. The lady told me to come any time between 8:30-5 to apply in person. When I got there the office was locked and I knocked on the door and a different lady answered. She cracked the door and talked to me through it with an attitude and said they’re “not open to the public”. ?????????????????????????????????

Yikes. My partner and I were told to call the week before we wanted stop by to set up a time to tour. My partner did exactly that, and then when we showed up for our appointment, the lady in the leasing office said there were no appointments. She barely even opened the door to speak with us, it was like she was afraid of us or something. We then asked if we would still be able to look at either a one or two bedroom, and she said “We don’t have that.” You… don’t have one and two bedroom townhomes? Overall very weird, and she didn’t even try to give us any kind of information. On top of that, the property is not well kept whatsoever. There was garbage everywhere and the homes looked disgusting on the outside. Save your time and look elsewhere

I lived in Auburn Village Townhomes for 2 years in order to save money for a home. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. To start, the staff here does not have any sympathy or care for their residents at all. There is so much employee turnover there I don’t think I ever talked to the same person twice. All they care about is money and how they can weasel it out of you. Don’t even think about trying to get maintenance to fix something. I once made 6 appointments for someone to come fix my carpet and they no showed all 6 times. Now they have the audacity to charge me a damage fee once I moved out. Lynn, the person I spoke to in the office told me “I didn’t work here at that time and the person you originally spoke to doesn’t work here anymore so there’s nothing we can do for you”. HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM??

My basement flooded last year in May and it took them almost 3 weeks to come fix it..today my basement flooded full of poop so is the rest of my neighbors…this is thee worse place ever on top of the neighbors saying they have roaches DON’T MOVE HERE‼️

I moved in here pretty recently. So far I am pleased with the apartment and service. The neighbors are friendly if not quiet. The office staff are cordial and responsive, and maintenance is supplied at timely period after requests are submitted. It's also conveniently close to Oakland University, and the pool in the back is pretty nice.
