I lived in Cooper City for 20 years. A few years ago, the HOA in which I lived chose to go with this company. They’re horrible to work with. I got into an email exchange with one of the property managers who didn’t like “my tone.” They were taking too long to approve a door that was being painted white and my house that was being repainted the same colors. When I saw the HOA President he said he hadn’t received anything from them yet they told me they hi were “waiting on the Board to approve.” Before you buy a house in an HOA, especially in Cooper City, make sure they aren’t the management company. If they are, find another neighborhood.

I work on the closing side of real estate transactions ,dealing with management companies ALL DAY LONG, Atlantis is quite frankly a PLEASURE to work with. I wish HOAs would listen to the people and not always pick whoever offers them a deal. My two cents. Better hope the one person that deals with your HOA is in the office, otherwise no one has any information and you’re just out of luck.

I submitted an architectural modification with the necessary documents on March 2025. At the end of the month additional documentation was requested which I personally dropped off on April 9Th. May came around and I hadn’t received notice of approval. I contacted their office and was informed that approvals take up to 45 working days. So as the date approached, on June 9th, I emailed again to find out what the status was and I was informed that they were waiting for the approval of the master association. On June 13th, I called the office and was told the same thing and directed to call the master association which I did. This is when I was informed that they had just received the updated package (submitted to Atlantis) on June 10th, so the day after I contacted them by mail. Every time I
