Very disorganized staff, very disappointing how they treat some residents. They dont explain things well to some people and theyll tell you thats how they run things with no reasoning or explanation. Theyll give you misinformation or not add some information if they do or dont want you to know things. They'll make sure they get their rent money without fixing things. They'll let some people use storage areas but not all, they'll pick and chose who they want to be decent with. Take pictures of before and after so you know what they might try and charge. People keep breaking into the gate, people living here are very nosey so be prepared for them to complain about something if they cant find anything to complain about they will find a reason. They want to make sure the community is safe but

Neighbors will complain about anything. Very unsettling staying to myself to get complained about. Complaints on my dog barking inside my apartment but keep their front window open, complaint that neibors was scared for their life when my dog was tamed on a leash outside porch balcony. I had to reask for work order to be placed, asking for the lease a 2nd time to get a mail box key and only received a welcome letter that the post office doesnt except. Waiting for the next complaint as I stay to myself and dont bother anyone while other people have their dogs off leashes and they get special privileges.

My husband and I applied for an apartment there. They made us take copies of our check stubs, ID and the deposit.( Which they still haven't refunded) Only to find out almost a week later that we did not get the apartment because a third party decided not to rent to us. We got a much better place in Nob Hill area.

Some of the worst apartments i have seen in Albuquerque. Overpriced rent on apartments that are 50 years old. Decaying infrastructure that guarantees constant maintenance issues and ran by a a management company that allows maintenance request to run well past a month. Bottom line to the owner is your money. Do not rent here! I talked to several tenants who cannot wait for their lease to be up so they can move out.

Bernice is great to work with. She is friendly and helpful. Aspen plaza is close to shoping and transportation. It is quite and peaceful.
