I’ve sent multiple emails about problems throughout the building. The elevator hasn’t worked properly in over three months and hasn’t been functional at all for over a month. Packages are being stolen every day now. Hallways are being left dirty, and stairways are filthy. If elevators are going to be out, make sure the secondary forms of exiting are clean. They don’t answer the phone—ever. Ever since they opened the new building, there is never anyone at 669 to answer questions. When you visit their “new office,” it’s always an excuse as to why they can’t help you, and they send you away. Nobody knows anything in this sorry excuse for a community. Anyone looking to move here—trust me—you’d rather be homeless than deal with these sorry people.

The elevator has been out for 3+ weeks, with no intentions on getting it fixed. My great aunt lives in this building and is wheelchair bound. This is inhumane!! I have already contacted channel 2 action news and just received an email from fox 5 this morning as well. Be expecting a visit this week. I will also be accompanying them. If the tenants can’t get you all to fix the problems, I’m sure the news stations and bad publicity can.

Ashley scholar landing back in the 2000s used to be the university homes projects the first projects in America for African Americans it was a rough neighborhood and before it was built it was a slum called beaver slide in the 1930s and that too was a rough African American slum in Atlanta. I put pictures below. university was torn down in 2010 due to crime being at the front door of SPELMAN and Ashley scholars landing is a watered down (now)2.0 version of university, with the final phases having a high amount of public housing. I am writing to express my concern and frustration regarding the pool at our community, which has now been closed for nearly two weeks. In that time, it has turned green, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. I am aware that it will likely cost the community to have the pool serviced and restored to safe conditions, but this should have been addressed promptly. As a resident, part of what I pay rent for includes access to amenities such as the pool, which is only open for a brief period during the summer. With the season almost over, it is unacceptable that it has remained unusable for such a significant portion of that time. If community amenities continue to be inaccessible, I will begin deducting a portion of my rent accordingly. These features were a deciding factor in choosing to
