Ashley Oaks Apartments in Richmond

I moved out in 2020. My rent was income based and they are still charging me and saying I live there as of 2025. I went to talk to the staff in 2021. The issue was not resolved. It’s camera’s around here so this will be an easy lawsuit. I’ll advise everyone to stay away. I lived here five years always complied and paid rent on time but towards the end of my stay I called legal aid because they weren’t fixing anything! Also when I had an domestic issue that a VAWA was granted to me and they did not comply another lawsuit! I just let it be and moved on out.

I dont suggest anyone move here, in the office they are very rude, and get service ticket done takes months. Most building have roaches. Don't understand how this still getting funds from Hud when this place falling apart

5 days without air conditioning and have asthma 😒 roaches coming for the vents and cracks plug sockets I'm sure it's mold in the vents and walls those never get checked or clean been here 9 years 🙄 they won't transfer me been stuck in the same big apartment for 9 years..! Did I mention that my air conditioner not working 5 days and counting yes I called 12 on your side!

I am a current resident here I been here 6 years going on 7 I just went into the rent office because my stove has been out since Monday well Sunday and it was smoking with electric issues sparking flames and I have 4 kids and it’s a fire hazard I just had too cuss everybody out in the rent office for a stove they are very rude over the phone maintance jumps and disrespects women argue with women in front of everybody in the rent office they put notes on the door saying your rent behind when it’s not true threaten too evict you if you have company over ….., it’s ridiculous SOMEBODY NEEDS TOO COME OUT HERE & FIX THIS ITS UNPROFESSIONAL they have been switching people out every couple of month new ppl working in the office you don’t know who is who who is in charge they do what they want they

I’m currently a resident of Ashley Oaks, and I do not advise anyone to move over here. The apartments and townhouses are run down, & they barely renovate them and take their time sending maintenance staff to fix anything. Also the entire leasing office staff and the manager Melissa are horrible and don’t do their jobs. The turnover rate is horrible, they have new staff members in the leasing office every few months and they all lack training and know nothing about running a leasing office. My fiancé and I have been residents for 7 years and I have never dealt with anything like I have this year. We have been threatened with inaccurate back rent notices and false alarm court notices because have all failed to do their jobs. HUD and legal aid has been notified. But STAY AWAY, do not move ove
