Ascent at Mallard Creek Apartments

Here to say that the maintenance team A1! Grimaldi & Ralph have been consistent since they began working here. I’ve NEVER had to wait for an issue to be addressed. I look forward to seeing them around the complex. Wherever they are, they will stop and waive. If they have a few extra minutes, they’ll stop and love on my dog who I’m usually out with. Matt just recently joined and he seems really solid too. I recently put in a request on Friday thinking it wouldn’t be addressed until Monday/Tuesday and he popped up on Friday to assess the issue. They are truly the heartbeat of the complex!

I recently toured with my boyfriend this past weekend, and I have to say the community was very clean and welcoming. The staff was incredibly sweet and friendly, especially Jillian. She was extremely helpful, informative, and did a great job keeping us up to date on news and new information. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this community to friends and family.

I’ve had repeated issues with the same neighbor targeting my unit in reports, which has been an ongoing concern and upsetting due to how I felt the situation was being handled. However, I do want to recognize and appreciate management’s recent response and efforts to address the situation in a fair and thoughtful way. While the matter isn’t fully resolved yet, I’m encouraged by the steps being taken and the communication so far. Because of this, I’m adjusting my rating and will continue to update it as things progress. I’m hopeful the next steps will lead to a full and fair resolution.

This review isn’t really about the apartment itself, but more about my experience with ongoing disturbances involving nearby residents. Most people here seem friendly and keep to themselves, and the staff have been polite and professional whenever I’ve reached out. Earlier on, I dealt with a stolen package and repeated noise issues, which I documented. I’ve also had to contact the police a few times when things escalated. Management did approve a unit transfer and waived the transfer fee, which I genuinely appreciate, but the placement was still very close to the same situation and the disturbances have continued. Because it hasn’t been fully resolved, I’m adjusting my rating slightly. I hope it improves and I’ll update again if it does.

I absolutely love my apartment! It’s beautiful and quiet, and I’ve never had any issues with the neighbors. Plus, the office staff is always incredibly helpful whenever I need them.
