Asbury Park

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn future tenants about my experience at Asbury Park Apartment Homes. 1. Unfair Deposit Deductions – No matter how well you hand over the unit, management will find a way to deduct money from your deposit. I personally cleaned the apartment inside and out for two full days before moving out, yet they still charged me about $370 for things like “vendor cleaning,” paint, and blinds. These are routine maintenance costs that should not fall on tenants who return the unit in good condition. It feels like a system designed to take money from every deposit, regardless of effort. 2. Theft & Security Concerns – During my lease, while I was on vacation, my parked vehicle was attempted for break in and the door handle was broken. I had

2b/1b, 875sqft. The rent does not reflect the space. This is probably a $1200/mo apartment (which includes the absolutely incredible service and treatment), but for some reason I'm paying $2500/mo. It is a HUGE black mark against them. This space is simply too small to be charging me more than a 4 bedroom house's mortgage. Otherwise this place easily earns 5/5 stars. Just WAY too expensive. Yes this is the median rent for the same size space. Talked to renters, not the owners for that information. Previous rent was $1,500+bills for the studio (425sqft, 1bath) which also, does not reflect the value of the space.

Asbury Park is an excellent place to live! Shaded year round, quiet and peaceful. It's a safe place as well that would be great for families. Management is solid and the maintenance team is rock solid and ready to help at any moment! I'd highly recommend this place as your future home!

Really a nice neighborhood to live. Nice neighbors, the property manager was helpful and nice (which being from out of state meant a lot more than most people would think), maintenance was always quick with requests and friendly, and the apartment grounds were always kept clean and neat. The only issue I had was pricing. I was not going to be able to continue to afford rent on my own, but from what I looked at when moving to Washington, I didn't see much better pricing without sacrificing living in a safe area. My dog and I enjoyed our time living at Asbury Park in Kirkland and I definitely recommend it as an option to those looking for a nice place to live.

This place is a tucked away gem! Very clean, quiet and well kept for buildings that are older. Small but very effective staff who really go above and beyond. You don’t hear any sirens despite being near a hospital and this complex is within 5-7 minutes of stores and seconds to 405. 100% recommend and very happy to call this place home.
