Art District Apartments

Be wary of this property, they are run very deceptively. I answered to an ad for a unit with in house laundry and dryer for 750. I set up a viewing with Felicia, who doesn’t seem to care if you rent or not. She arrived late to the showing of the unit and then told me the unit didn’t have those amenities and was actually 950 per month. I did the application for 100 and no one contacted me back despite many attempts to reach out. finally called the location directly and received a text saying the owner wants me to pay 5x the amount to be able to move in. Now I understand I’m rebuilding credit and have no actual pay stubs, but I sent over adequate earnings to show I could afford to live there and also put down the legal amount to move in. I relocated to Las Vegas just before the start of 2019 and signed a one year lease on a unit at Art District Apartments at the end of December, 2108. My plan was to rent a relatively low cost place for my first year here until I settle down into something more permanent, such as buying a home. Wanted to learn the area and make friends before getting into any long term commitments. ADA as they call it has been completely adequate for my needs. The locals here explain how much this area in the Arts District Downtown is in flux. I think anyone researching this area online should disregard any reviews online that go back farther than one year as things are obviously changing really fast around here at this time. I agree with prior review. The “lady” who does the apartment tours was late meeting me after I had been approved by the screening. You can tell by the way she answers you in text messages. She doesn’t care either way. She had me waiting more than a half hour. She then proceeded to text me that she had finally arrived. I don’t have the time nor the gas money to wait for her. Luckily I went down the way and found a cheaper apartment that has all bills paid and management actually cares about their tenants. No thank you

I lived there 3 years moved out due to inflation. never had an issue, place was nice and quiet, well kept, yes it is in naked city, but they keep the gates locked and working at all times, and are strick on the no letting strangers into the complex, part of the lease. Thank god they are, it is in naked city after all.
