I was charged a $1,502 "reletting" fee for giving a 52 day notice instead of the required 60.... I was told my only option was to extend my lease 8 days prorated day to day for $714 to avoid the relett fee. I had to wait to get my lease offer (which they sent only 10 days before the 60 day mark) before comparing and shopping around.... So being able to do figure out if I am hoing to move or resign within 10 days while still having to work and being in the middle of Easter just wasn't enough time for me. This feels completely unreasonable and predatory. Terrible way to treat someone who lived here for 2 years before moving.

I was on vacation for 2 weeks and came back to no hot water or heat from my ac unit. Prior to my vacation, I had already submitted 2 emergency requests to fix the ac heat. And they never fixed it while I was gone. The maintenance is the worse team I've ever experienced. This new property management is terrible! My wife and I can't even properly use hot water for cooking or showering.

Love my apartment and it’s been great living there however there are frustrations. the office the phone will ring no matter what time you call, and it always says they have stepped away from desk. Rent has gone up significantly yet I have seen no major improvements to justify the increase. The green spaces have been destroyed. Before I saw beautiful greenery now I see horrible maintained backyards from the houses behind us. The gates are never closed which after two years of living there i have never received a clear answer as to why they are always open. An abundance of Kids think riding their bike in the middle of the street is acceptable as their parents watch from their balconies.

Thank you to Bashar & Hussein who responded promptly when my refrigerator stopped working. They tried to fix the issue on hand and were not able to but reassured me that they would resolve this promptly. Hussein came within a couple of days to replace the refrigerator and was so nice, courteous and friendly and replaced the refrigerator in little time. Appreciated his enthusiasm.

If you were thinking of moving here DON’T...SERIOUSLY, DON’T!!!! I was a resident at Riata for 7 years, and recently moved out in July. My experience in the beginning was wonderful, and at one point in time I thought I would be sad to leave Riata. Fast forward a few years, and I was more than happy to pay to break my lease. I constantly had ongoing maintenance issues that weren’t fixed properly, which included the smell of rotten eggs coming from my bathroom sink, my a/c & heat repeatedly going out, ventilation and moisture issues, mold, and rotting bathroom walls. We also had issues with bugs and other pests that wouldn’t go away regardless of how many times we called pest control.
