Arizona Community Management Services (AZCMS)

I recently moved into a community AZCMS manages in Scottsdale. I've had a great experience working with our community manager, Maria. She's responsive to all of my emails and is extremely patient with my many "new owner" questions. The property is quiet and well maintained. We receive regular email communication from the management. I'm happy.

This new HOA management company is wanting to fine us $50 multiple times for palm trees with less than 5 dead frons on them that were cut 6 months ago. We have cut our palm trees 2x a year for 6 years now and all the sudden this is an issue?!?! This is the recommended cutting schedule for palm trees in az! Furthermore I have picture proof of cutting them 6 months ago and the photo they sent as evidence is black and white so you can't even tell which branches are dead! I even went against arborist recommendation to not cut any green frons off to make it look good for the HOA management jerks who obviously use black and white cameras and AI to fine hard working people taking care of their place. I have lived here in The Residence Plaza for 3 years. I have seen HOA managers come and go over time. Of which all have done a good job. To date Joliana stands out over all of the managers in the past. She shows great enthusiasm and takes pride in what she does. Joliana always makes herself available to everyone and their needs. The grounds and facilities are always kept up and perfect. I have rented in the Plaza to date but my fiancé & I have considered purchasing a condo here in the near future! really bad experience with these people. they manage my condo at ladera vista in scottsdale. they took over the management mid year and changed how our autopay went through. it stopped by scheduled payments and I didnt notice it happening. over 6 months they never once bothered to contact me to inform me my payments were not going through. after 6 months they sent a letter to an old address that i had updated years ago. then they sent me to their attorney who miraculously had my correct address. they charged me hundreds of dollars for this. as soon as i found out i contacted them and did what i could to make my account right but they refused to budge on any of the fees. ive had this condo for 20 years and have never had a management company too lazy to bother emailing if a payment didnt go
