Argyle House Luxury Apartments

We recently moved into Argyle House, and I can honestly say that the entire leasing experience was made exceptional because of Gabriela. From the very first interaction through move-in and beyond, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Gabriela was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. She took the time to walk me through every detail, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked. Moving can be stressful, but she made everything feel smooth, organized, and manageable. What truly stood out was her availability and responsiveness. I’ve never lived there or even toured it BUT i did stay across the street at a hotel for a while and stared at it a bunch. Couple things, first it seems tragic that the east facing side seems to lack plants on any balcony, as it gets SOOOO much sun. Plants would soften up the look of it. Next, this place seems largely unoccupied, not helped by the fact that empty apartments (or condos?) will have the lights on all night. Living spaces look better when people are living in them, esp in bustling LA. Why no plants? Why no people? Also bonkers that only positive reviews are responded to. Would serve em better to respond to critical reviews as well.

This building completely failed to protect resident safety. A man was able to scale the exterior of the building and walk onto my private balcony while I was asleep. The balcony door has no lock, meaning he could have entered my apartment. Management did not notify residents at any point that this was happening. After I reached out, I was told everything was “fixed” and that there was “no threat.” That turned out to be false. The same individual was later released from jail and returned to the property, knocking on my apartment door while wearing a jail jumpsuit. When I called the front desk during this, they had no idea what had happened—they were never informed by management. I now have severe anxiety and cannot sleep safely in my own apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY! Today, there was a literal BURGLARY on the floor below me. How do I know this? My sister is staying on my couch and woke up to the sound of police yelling. She looked down at the street and there were police officers pointing automatic rifles right at the unit below and to the right of me. Not only was no one informed of this event… When I called the concierge to see what was happening he seemed to think it was all good! I told him it was NOT in fact all good and he informed me that Argyle House management does not have a plan for something like this. I told him to call everyone on the floor where the burglar was and inform them to shelter in place. After the police seemed to be dispersing, I hear doors opening on MY floor. I open my doo
