Arbor Hills Co-Op Apartment

Been here 25 years. This place gets worse and worse. If you have kids you should not be living in a one bedroom apt here. They care more about the renters than the owners. Some of the office staff needs to be replaced.

I've been calling Arbor Hills home for the past 2 years. It is very safe, no one bothers you, assigned parking spot, mini gym and pool in the summer. Arbor Hills does an excellent job at keeping the campus clean, the snow removal is excellent as well. In the summer if you hate rules, the pool rules will drive you crazy. I like to live peacefully so I don't mind the no alcohol, no music, guest limit and all the other rules they have. They can be a bit annoying with them. But again if you like peace and quiet then it will be fine. Also, if you have a quiet neighbor everything will be fine. The walls are paper thin. I lucked out, Im actually the noisiest in my building. Oh lastly, the summer bugs. Once or twice in the summer only, you will see a huge summer bug.

This is one of the worst complexes I have ever lived in and cannot wait to move out. Office staff are rude, lazy and don’t care about the lives of their residents. They enjoy telling you no to any question comment or concern. They send rude and misspelled letters constantly to explain what the residents are doing wrong. I cannot wait to unsubscribe from their nasty email chain once I leave. The only reason this place gets two stars is for the pool facility which is quite nice but don’t bring an open drink into the pool area or they will accuse you of bringing in alcohol. Two things I can endorse Arborhills for, first location is good, second in winter time they do good job to clear snow and keep the driveway and sidewalk open. However, living here was a terrible experience. construction quality is disaster, very noisy and you can hear every one around you, the floors crack as it is about to break. Wide spread of mice infestation in many buildings and the issue was never resolved. it was very hard to deal with the Arbor hills management, unfortunately they have serious attitude problems and most of the times words does not match actions, absolutely not reliable and incompetent. dealing with management and staff here is full of tricks and traps, any decent person will suffer a lot if he/she request service or attempt to deal with complains. you can notice t

I've been a resident of Arbor Hills for the past 7 years and have enjoyed my time here. The property itself is maintained quite well and many units offer nice views of the courtyards that are full of green grass and nice trees. It is only a few minutes from transportation, eateries, shopping, and entertainment. It is a quiet community that people of various ages call home, but more recently a younger population has been seen. Over the summer, residents can enjoy the beautiful pools that are found behind the Clubhouse and have 24 hr access to a small, but newly equipped and fully functional fitness center. I would have given Arbor Hills 5 stars, but at times visitors do have a difficult time parking. Overall, a pretty great place to live!
