Absolute SCAM of a building to live in. They are insanely greedy and lure you in with concessions but then after a bit they raise rental rates by an absurd amount. Recommend NOT LIVING HERE There are people in the leasing office/management company that are purposely negligent. They will remain unnamed but highly recommend NOT LIVING HERE. It’s a rip off and there is marginal value compared to living in Manhattan. Restaurants are garbage too

Applied manages 340 3rd street and they have proved themselves to be completely inept and unresponsive. Our single elevator has been broken for almost 3 weeks and multiple emails and calls to management have gone unanswered; specifically to Evan Pimentel and Dan Matuzak. I had a c-section 2 weeks ago and have had to go up and down stairs, sometimes with a stroller, with no acknowledgement from applied management and no end in sight; the only emails we receive are blasts that say the elevator is taking longer. Our intercom system to buzz people into the building has not worked since we moved in (April 2019). Again, flights of stairs need to be taken to simply let guests in, including elderly guests. Definitely one of the worst management companies out there. Lived in 333 River Street, however, they consistently did shoddy repair work on appliances and just wanted to save a few bucks. Never could get in touch with them, and when you did they didn't want to talk. Avoid Hudson Square South, North, and 333 River.

An insane nuisance to the Applied Housing buildings that are adjacent to it. As of this moment, their generators/central air (one or the other) is on so loud that my family can not even hear each other when we are yelling! NOTE: It's a Saturday, meaning THEY ARE NOT EVEN IN THE BUILDING! Please, whatever you do, stay away from this building, you will never be able to sleep or even go to their headquarters for assistance! It is an inconvenience and a complete displeasure to live near this building, to have gone into this building, or to have sought out this company. It would be an honor if they left Hoboken and their raucous central air, that Applied Housing tenants do not have, left with them.

Horrible. They have the worst customer service and practically go out of their way to ruin your day. The worst is when their stuff breaks and they make you trek half way across hoboken to fix it. its absolutely ridiculous, they are rude and dont deserve anyone's business.
