Annex Lofts

Owned a unit in Annex Lofts, but sold it. The lofts are very nice that is why the 2 stars. I had a loud neighbor who would play music all hours of the night, very annoying. Also unit above me had leaked multiple times. My Bathroom ceiling tiles had to be replaced 3 different times. Lucky, I sold when I did because, again, the unit above me had a fire!! Apparently, the washer/dryer shorted out and caused significant damage to other units. Just glad I sold and moved.

The building is nice, it does have a very industrial feel. If you like that sort of thing it's perfect, and I do. The ceilings are high and there's a lot of concrete and columns. The common room is nice, there's a space outside for hanging out and smoking and such. They also offer a nice workout room and storage space in the basement. I've been here a few months and overall it's not bad.

Nothing spectacular about the building. Units are bare and very industrial. Seating in common areas are very dated. Building has a very cold feel. Elevator is parking garage is extremely slow and tends to be "out of service" often. Building always has a smell of trash near the mailboxes. Building is supposedly "secure" but doors are almost always propped open by other tenants allowing anyone to come and go as they please. There is a common room with a TV and couch but no one ever really uses it. The building also has a small patio area for common use as well.

I own a condo in the Annex Lofts. it is a beautiful place in St. Louis and my view is amazing. The lofts are very spacious and quiet! I highly recommend purchasing a condo here!

Don’t think about moving here…no means of security for the residents. No actions are ever taken from the property management when things keep disappearing. There’s a ton of places too live in downtown with 1) better security 2) concerns addressed with empathy for victimized residents 3) you won’t be robbed at the front door by hood thugs
