AVOID. Rented from Ampere for 4 years with no late payments and excellent communication on my end. We gave them plennnty of notice of move-out. I guided all potential tenants through the house and I even secured new tenants for them through my connections. We truly left the property nicer than when we moved in. Their rental agent even said we should have no problems getting our deposit back after I did all of the tours for him. They played dumb about the move-out notice I gave them (because they didn't respond), said we left it in "horrible condition" and refused to return the security deposit. See the "horrible condition" below *eye roll* They said I was "harassing them" by asking for an itemized receipt of the damages. Repainting and spackling is standard wear and tear but they made it
I am a current tenant of Ampere. I know writing a bad review of them is likely going to bite me in the butt later, but I am fed up. Ampere has an app for repairs. They do not respond to emergencies in an appropriate or reasonable manner. When I first moved in, my oven would randomly turn itself on. No direct communication from my landlords about it because it was a weekend..but I couldn't leave my place because...fire hazard. Right now, I am writing this from a coffee shop where I have been for an hour because our fire alarm went off and everyone in the whole building had to evacuate. None of us tenants have heard a word from Ampere, even though we have been calling and texting. Eventually, they texted back just saying "what's the issue" and nothing else. They should know when the fir
TLDR; Don't rent from these folks if you can avoid it. Excessively greedy and dishonest management and ownership. Tenants often have to threaten to hire outside help to get Ampere to make critical repairs (like no hot water or serious leaks). We had to collectively organize to pressure management to perform legally required fire alarm tests because it kept going off in the middle of the night. Avoid. I've rented from Ampere Property at their property at 5015 Warrington Ave for two years. In that time, there has been a pattern of chronic neglect around both routine and emergency maintenance that has severely impacted the habitability of the property. Most notably, there is a faulty fire alarm system that goes off at all hours of the day and night. Management refuses to admit there is any p
DO NOT RENT FROM AMPERE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. We lived in 5347 Rose St. Chattanooga and We paid our rent on time the 2 years we lived there, we cleaned throughly before we moved out and they still took $399 for cleaning fee? They also charged us for “repainting” the place $300. Regardless of us cleaning the house before we moved, that place usually gets very dusty regardless and also all the windows in the house don’t even open, they are all sealed shut. The AC is a joke, doesn’t even work even it’s been “fixed” before by the so-called AC techs. 2 weeks before we moved out, it was extremely hot. And we reported it before and they have come to fix it several times and we decided not to even bother since we were leaving. Note this: the bathroom drawers HAVE MOLD. Also have termites in the ba
Disappointed by the Lack of Follow-Through We were initially impressed by how responsive this property management company was when we expressed interest in several of their listings. We found a property we really loved and had a few questions before moving forward. Unfortunately, after that point, communication completely dropped off. Despite calling daily and leaving messages, we haven't received any follow-up. Their voicemail is consistently full, which doesn't inspire much confidence in their professionalism or organization. It's frustrating to be left in the dark, especially after such a promising start. We expected better communication from a company managing rental properties—especially when potential tenants are ready to take the next step.
