AMLI Wallingford

This is honestly one of my favorite places I've lived at! Everyone is so kind, the area is amazing(right across the street from gas works park), the building is well maintained, there a new pet of the month each month and the best of all, the monthly events for the residents are always amazing!!! Raven is the absolute kindest and goes all out for her tenants, or if we're being honest friends! Even the maintenance team is amazing, especially Edu, he's so kind and very efficient with his job!!!! 11/10 recommend living here, it's safe and secure, I never have an issue with parking, apartments are very modern and up to date, especially the technology!!

This apartment can be great sometimes, but has serious downsides as well. The good: - Nice location. Right next to Gas Works Park, 10 minute walk to Fremont. - The water heater works well. - The maintenance team is awesome, specifically Edu. The bad: - You will get totally shafted by rent increases every year. For example, if your lease ends in December, AMLI will use the summer peak in June to calculate your renewal rate (i.e. an obscene increase), ironically exploiting the 6-month advanced notice requirement that is meant to protect tenants. Then they will refuse to regenerate a fair renewal offer at the end of the year, when market conditions have clearly changed. I absolutely love living here. The people who work here are ALL amazing and truly care about the community. No problem is too big or too small for the service techs here. There are no unfair or hidden fees, and the other tenants here are generally respectful, although I think things could be handled better with the trash/recycling/compost in the building I’m in. Keep in mind if you’re considering living here that means some people are not aware of how to properly throw items away in the correct places, and in general don’t try to minimize their waste. For example, trash chutes are consistently clogged or the trash room is filled with bags. People do not break down their boxes, and dump furniture/rugs/other items by the trash areas. This is the best apartment I’ve ever lived in! It’s super clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful, kind and always available. They are also thoughtful and set up small events/gifts for residents. Edu is super nice and has been very helpful with any maintenance issues!

AMLI Wallingford is a great community with an incredible team! I work with them as one of their vendors and it's a positive experience every time I get to stop by. The property is always well-maintained and smells fresh, but the team members are definitely what set this community apart. They truly care about their residents which is seen both in the TLC they give their property as well as how kind they are to everyone who comes in, current resident or not. Will definitely be considering AMLI Wallingford for my next home!
