They took my application fee, and ghosted me. They were responsive initially but after they denied my app.... crickets. They couldn't even give the reason for denying my app. Said I didn't meet financial criteria when I gross MORE than 3x the rent..never been evicted and my rent is never late. They just took my money. Shady operation for sure. Based on these reviews, I dodged a bullet anyway

Avoid at all costs. I hired them for property management and had to terminate them after a few months due to lack of communication, dishonesty, incompetence and fraud. It started with the first month's owners statement I received that was for someone else. I notified them of the error and gave them the benefit of the doubt as I considered it may have been an honest mistake. The statement sent out the next month was again for someone else. When I finally got a hold of them after trying for weeks I let them know this was not acceptable and requested my correct statement immediately. The third month's statement was a completely fraudulent statement with extra charges and numbers that did not add up. Definitely the absolute worst property management company. The lack of communication is astounding. I've had to go over issues in almost ever statement each month for questionable charges which resulted in me getting money back. Had I not been looking they would have gotten away with so much. You have to follow through with them multiple times through calls and emails before you get an answer or anything is done. We had to get their broker involved who was just as shocked at the lack of transparency and shoddy record keeping. I hired them to not have to deal with the property directly, but using them resulted in more time, money and stress. Avoid at all costs.

I recently moved into a home managed by The American Property Management Group, LLC. My service request made to Ms. Elaine and Thomas have been handled both professionally and expeditiously! My experience has been positive, thus making my family's transition very easy. I am also pleased with their follow-up to assure that the requested services had been completed successfully! Great service, great team!
