We have lived here for 12 months. For 3 months now we have sent 7 noise complaints about the same neighbors. They have screaming fights at 3 am throwing things at our walls and shattering glass. They throw parties throughout the night so loud. We have called the cops multiple times and reported to the apartment about it. They have told us it is a hard process to handle and it is the cops responsibility to handle it not theirs. I have explained my concern that we are living next to people who are very violent often and they have blown me off saying that’s not for them to handle. Sarah was very rude to me saying she will not continue talking to us on the phone of our complaints because we were getting irritated. We are not resigning our lease here. we have been begging the front office to address our neighbors who have many nights of yelling at eachother, throwing things at our walls, very loud parties that go till the early mornings, and are smoking indoors which is coming through our vents. We have called the cops multiple times and told altair about this even more. They said that the 7 complaints we have sent them is not enough. They have completely blown us off and offered no compensation or resolution. I have never lived somewhere that has had no concern for our safety or being able to sleep through the night. When we signed our lease at the end of 2023, this place seemed great. We were told to expect things like Pastry Fridays, fun giveaways, monthly social events, and even riddles. The staff was friendly, upfront, and helpful. That all changed about a month in when new management took over. Since then, everything has gone downhill. The events and community perks we were promised basically stopped. Staff became noticeably less friendly and far less helpful. One of the biggest issues has been their payment system. On multiple occasions, our rent payments were reversed by their system—not ours—and they still charged us late fees that they refused to remove, even though the issue wasn’t on our end. We are co signers here. Our daughter has called the police and management SEVEN times for domestic abuse/partying and excessive noise in the middle of the night coming from the neighbors. Things being thrown at walls, Excessive screaming and fighting etc. Nothing has been done and Sarah at the office just continues to tell her to keep reporting and turning in complaints. Apparently SEVEN times is not enough. My daughter is just being blown off. They continue to say “it’s not that easy to evict” meanwhile her right for peaceful existence in her own apartment is ignored after seven complaints and told that’s not enough. Awesome place to live, beautiful space with, Bosch appliances, heated swimming pool, gym, coffee bar and very nice lobby space. The private working spaces with computer hook ups has been a lifesaver for me in my transition to moving here. The staff is very responsive to issues. Great staff, wonderful nice people. They have been very helpful to me during a tragic time in my life and I’m truly grateful to them, a big thank you to Jen and Zane!
