Almont Homes NE - Sierra Lake

We love the floorplan of these houses so much. The loft at the second floor is so important for us to gather around for a movie night before bedtime. We also love the 4 car garage.

We came here 1 year ago when looking at the area in general. At the time, most of the homes hadn't been built yet but the ones that had been were listed as low as 370k. 1 year later when we were ready to move, the homes have gone up $100k+ so we walked away. The media room is awkward honestly because no one is going to watch a movie when bedrooms surround it. Also, not having a basement at that price point (cause basements seem to put you at the $600k mark) was not happening. Also, although the standard home is beautiful, its cookie cutter, it all looks identical. We moved down the street into a neighborhood with the same amenities for less money and a larger more private lot. Its not a bad neighborhood but the truth is we live in the country, not a lot priced that high.

Think these homes are generally a bit overpriced. The lots are an average of a third of an acre, the layouts inside are a bit strange, but the kitchens are spacious. What disappointed me most was the poor quality of the woodwork. Trimwork was very poorly done!

Great quite neighborhood with beautiful homes that has a 2 car garage, 1-2 story homes, and pool center area that is on the opposite side of the lake.

We loved our first Almont Hone in Orchard Lake and now are excited to build our new one in Sierra Lake.
