I would not recommend living here. The advertised rent is misleading because after all the extra charges and fees, the final price goes up significantly. The building is old, and the apartments are not in good condition. They claim they repaint the unit before every move-in, and tenants are charged for painting when moving out. However, when I moved in, the apartment was not properly painted, cleaned, or well maintained. It honestly makes me question where the painting fee is actually going. One of the biggest issues is communication. It is nearly impossible to get in touch with the leasing office. I want to recognize the incredible maintenance technician Montoya who takes care of our entire apartment complex essentially on his own. I see him working every day with what seems like no days off, yet he continues to address maintenance requests in a timely and thorough manner. In our unit alone, he has replaced three appliances entirely by himself, and resolved multiple issues efficiently. The scope of responsibility he handles independently is truly impressive. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he frequently assists tenants with smaller, everyday needs simply to ensure they are happy and able to live comfortably. We went for a tour and had a very disappointing experience. The lady who helped us barely acknowledged us from the start. When we asked about pricing, she told us to come back when we were closer to our move-in date. I explained that we understood prices can change, but we just wanted a general idea — she still refused to answer our questions. The apartment tour lasted less than a minute. She stood at the door rushing us the entire time, clearly in a hurry to move on. We asked several questions about garage rentals and the square footage of the apartment, and her response was to “check online” because she didn’t have time to “lose.” Overall, the service was extremely rude and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. The utilities are super expensive, plus they charge fees without letting us know in advance. The management team is not good with communication at all! When I tried to transfer to another unit I called and visited in person specifically to understand the full costs, yet they were not clear about the fees. It seemed like a new charge was added every time I reached out. Furthermore, it has been a struggle just to get a response from the team. They should really consider hiring more staff to make this process more efficient.
**NOTE: this review is ONLY for maintenance. Other aspects are okay-ish, and I plan on editing review to add more on that once I move out. I’ve lived here maybe a year at this point, and there’s been a lot of come and go when it comes to maintenance guys - however, there’s definitely been a HUGE shift in the past months when Montoya came into the picture. He is on top of it, super nice and knowledgeable, and is very hardworking. Maintenance is a huge part of living in an apartment, and he makes that aspect of Allure top tier. Hope he stays for the long run, as he’s a great asset to the community!
