Align Apartments

I’m happy to give Align Apartments in Federal Way a five-star review, primarily because of the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the community staff. Every interaction I’ve had has been met with genuine care, prompt communication, and a willingness to help. It’s clear that the team truly values its residents and works hard to create a positive living experience. While there are certainly areas within the community that could be improved, the staff consistently go above and beyond to address concerns and support residents in any way they can. Their responsiveness and respectful approach make a meaningful difference. For that reason alone, I’m grateful to call Align Apartments home and sincerely appreciate the people who make the community feel welcoming.

This was, without question, the most frustrating rental experience I’ve had. For over a year, I repeatedly raised concerns about water damage in the unit, including visible moisture issues that affected multiple areas. I documented everything and followed up consistently. I was told a remediation company would be scheduled, but they never showed up. The issues were never fully resolved, which ultimately led to my decision not to renew my lease. Communication was extremely inconsistent. Emails frequently went unanswered once concerns were documented. For approximately six months, there did not appear to be a consistent on-site property manager — it was often temporary management, which made accountability and follow-through very difficult. TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES BEFORE MOVING IN!!!! I am writing to express my absolute frustration and disappointment with the condition of the apartment I was supposed to move into. The fact that the damages were not fixed before my scheduled move-in date is completely unacceptable and frankly shows a serious lack of professionalism. When I agreed to rent this unit, I did so with the understanding that the apartment would be properly maintained and ready for occupancy. Instead, I was met with unresolved damages, unfinished repairs, and a space that clearly was not prepared for a new tenant. This is not what was promised, and it is certainly not what I am paying for. I would strongly urge anyone considering this apartment complex to think twice. Monae, Joe, and Charlene are so kind and do their best to keep the community clean. They’re also easily approachable and always responsive to any issues that are brought up. I appreciate the amount of storage space there is by not only having an outside closet and pantry, but also a coat closet, and inside the cabinets and closets themselves. I also really like having a small fenced in backyard. Plus the rent is reasonable. However, there are lots of tenants who make it difficult to want to stay here. For example, there are multiple kids who run around the parking lot unsupervised, throwing rocks at cars, cussing at adults, and littering. We also have 2 neighbors that clearly don’t take good care of the animals they own. 1 of which has 4 kittens that they leave outside cold and hungry, des

Thank you so much for having my daughter and I at the pumpkin painting!! It got us out the house and the room was filled with love in the atmosphere, we all came together and shared our time and many smiles were put on each others faces! I want to give Monae a special shoutout for bringing all of the residents together in one space! I hope to see more events like these in the future!
