Alexander Hamilton Plaza Apartments

Living at Alexander Hamilton Apartments has been an amazing experience! The property manager and maintenance team always go out of their way to assist me in any way possible. The community is very clean, well-maintained, and professionally managed. I truly appreciate the excellent service and care they provide. Just horrible! I was living in these houses for a year and I regret to even staying that long. I’ve reached out numerous times about the flooding that kept happening and the most they would do is just clean up the water and clog the pipes. My apartment smelled like a sewer and no matter how much products I used it stayed. The flood would go straight to my living room, my children’s room, hallway and the opening of my room. I have black mold in my supply closet that is by the house door, my children room had black mold also. My children being sick non stop because they wouldn’t do anything. I put in work orders and nothing. I was missing a mirror in my bathroom. Bathroom top was burned from the previous owner, I submitted to the leasing office what was wrong and again NOTHING. I came in for a tour unannounced. But the office staff Sara and Ronetta still gave me a tour. Yes the buildings may be a little rough but be real the rent is $675 dollars. I was very surprised when I went into an apartment however it was clean and fresh and it will only cost me a $100 refundable hold deposit to apply when I’m ready. This is very much in my price range and I’m excited to know there are still affordable apartments!

I'm updating my 1 star review from 2 years ago as I don't think it properly depicts the current staff. I will give 5 stars here because of the combination of the staff and the pest control company they used. At times it was an inconvenience to me with my work schedule and the fact my location in the complex put me in the last apartment of the day for the pest control person. I have not seen a roach in over 6 months. They were everywhere and made my life miserable and now they are gone so I gladly will give the 5 stars. Thank you.

When my friend got denied they would not give her $100 holding fee back and it is refundable and all Ronitta does is get smart mouthed and rude and hung up on her. I wouldn't recommend a dog to apply for these apartments.
