Aldine Apartments

So me, my girlfriend, my two step sons, and my daughter had moved into this apartment complex about a year or so ago and everything was fine for the first few months, after a few months of living here we started noticing there were large amounts of german cockroaches coming out at night time, we used raid went to the management about the situation and still to this day, Us and several other people apparently that live here are suffering from this issue. I just want other people to know about this so that if they decide to try and lease here to maybe reconsider and lease somewhere else.

I really wouldn't give it any star 3yrs Living there it was like being self employed. Manager never did anything right the 1st unit had hot water 2nd unit need to boil hot water to shower. In both units water floods the inside of the apartment also changed managers like they changed their underwear. I've talked even with the new landlord himself the went from $980 to a $1050 only cause they fixed the parking lot but raised the rent to 1,175 they can't make the effort to fix anything in the apartments. I literally had to wait almost 3yrs for my front door to get fixed water was going in roaches and other bugs as well. They only fixed it cause I reported them to the city the maintenance don't know what their doing I had to point out where the water was coming into my room. I told them what t

I love living here, been here for years ! Since I was in high school. They have improved sooo much ! It’s quite and nice, no violence what so ever anymore. We have the occasional ambulance come by because we do have elderly living here now with some health issues but that’s it. Kids play out side when they get off of school, we just had an event for the kids for Halloween. It may not look like much from the outside but I’m very proud to be living here. This is my home and nothing but families live here everyone knows everyone. It’s a nice community. As for the maintenance crew the work is amazing the staff is in much better shape now.

There are so many concerns about things that have been going on around here lately. The breaking into car's, the homeless people living here, neighbors saying that people have knocked on their doors very late at night. It's starting to become dangerous around here and the owner tim doesn't bother to do anything about it.its sad, when I first moved here I liked living here,now it's unsafe.there are cameras all over the property and our manager doesn't know who is committing these crimes.
