Alderwood Apartments

This is absolutely the worst place you could EVER live in. It’s trashy, the garages and cars are constantly broken into. The apartments always have flooding issues. When I was living here my window and another residents window were broken, Lenay the property manager claimed it was due the the Lawn company throwing a rock at the window. It then took them two months to fix my broken window leaving me to feel unsafe in my own home. In my lease agreement they promised to cover water sewer trash and then a week after I signed my lease they sent me a notice saying they were no longer covering water and I had to now foot the bill. UPDATE!**** The owner has been trying to withhold our security deposit!! Saying that they didn’t have a forwarding address, which is a lie since it was on our copy of the written notice to vacate. Then the landlord said the owner mailed it to our apartment with Alderwood on the 10th. Which if they had done so, it would have been forwarded to our new address, because I changed it through the post office on the 5th. They do not respond to emails and say they did in order to stall. Absolutely ridiculous complex and should be investigated for the complete negligence, fraud, and theft that goes on. Do NOT rent here! Property owner is down right cheap! Replaces (toilet, dishwasher, faucet, etcetera) at the absolute lowest cost for them. No A.C. on the ground floor is ridiculous. The fridge does

Lived here for 5 years. Management absolutely sucks. No concern for tenants rights. Someone entered my apartment with a key (no idea who in the world couls have possibly had a key). It took them 4 weeks and me finally telling them i would find a locksmith myself and take it from rent for them to actually change the locks that I already paid for. They refuse to repair things timely without threatening to pay for it ourselves. They think they can enter your apartment any time for whatever they deem "am emergency", even though it's not. No rules are enforced, whatsoever. They constantly want to enter the apartment for inspections. It was quite excessive, multiple times a year. Absolutely would never recommend this complex to anyone. Ownership/management is absolutely pathetic. Most tenants are nothing but white trash. The managers and owners are about as clueless as they come and don't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. Lots of theft and property crime in area with no security measures, not even the garages are secure(I had mine broken into 3 times). When you move out, they try to screw as hard as possible. Don't expect any of your deposit returned, and be prepared to get charged for every little thing they can find. I attempted to dispute charges, but the owner didn't respond. Then she turned me into collections almost 2 years later! I had to get my attorney involved to set them straight and back off. I'd rather live in a motel than live in this pathetic complex. Horrible apartment complex!Terry the property manager is unprofessional, dishonest, And extremely rude. Don't expect to get anything repaired properly or on time. Going on 3 months waiting on getting light fixtures fixed maintenance came in now Part of the kitchen connected to the refrigerator doesn't have Electricity. Maintenance had to remind Terry you can not leave a tenant without power to the refrigerator. Weather stripping isn't properly installed on sliding glass doors so you get a beautiful breeze coming through in below freezing temperatures. Bed bug in complex !!! Washers and dryers are always out of order! The grounds are not taking care of during the Winter ice is everywhere all over the stairs very dangerous. Water damage in most apartments.
