Jim Alder of Alder Properties has professionally handled my Reno Property Management needs for close to 30 years. He recently assisted me with the sale of two long time rental properties. Through the years, Jim and Colleen (office manager) have always made me feel like an extra special client. Jim is also exceptionally diplomatic with landlord/tenant relations. His tireless dedication to the needs of his clients are tremendous. I would highly recommend the experienced services of Jim and Alder Properties!

Renters beware. This company does not have your best interest in mind. We unknowingly rented a “Lemon” of a house from Alder properties. Black mold, leaky pipes, a rat infestation under the house (just for starters). Problems since day one! We had small children running around with exposed pipes, cracked and missing floor tiles, no drywall, a leaky waste line for MONTHS! A fallen over fence in the backyard that often let other neighbors dogs into the yard. Calvin was so hot and cold to work with. They literally forced us to break the lease when the home owner refused to fix all the ongoing issues that he was legally obligated to fix since it was a health code violation! They also expected rent to continue to be paid while we had to figure out how to come up with an additional 12k to find

We were referred to Jim Alder by a family friend. He did a terrific job selling my Mom's house in Reno. My siblings and I live out of state, so we relied on Jim and his team for all aspects of the sale. They connected us to a reputable estate sale company, organized contractors to refresh the house before sale, and handled the process from start to finish. He gave us solid and current advice. The house sold in under 30 days with only minor adjustment to the price. It was a low stress, no drama transaction. I would certainly recommend Jim and Alder team.

Linda Church is an absolutely terrible property manager and illegally enters tenants homes without giving them proper notice. She never answers the phone and is so hard to get in touch with and work with. I would rethink using her for any of your real estate needs.
